Honestly I'm just curious as of what's inside those files, as I'm a fledgling designer myself. Maybe AD will be able to make one someday.Īlthough I could look for changes between the MMM map and the normal Large grassland map, see if that turns anything up. Honestly though, if it was that easy billions of people would have done it by now, but so far MMM is the only person able to accomplish it, and I'm pretty sure they're inactive now. I sort of want to see if I can figure out how to make a XL map that is a lot less buggy and doesn't crash. If you want you can build an exhibit to see if it crashes or not, as long as you make a point to make everything look ugly. I don't want you to end up building something awesome like I did only to realize you can't use it. I ended up making my best entrance yet on that map and I had to scrap it because it was on that map.
At first you can start your zoo and everything will be fine, but once you've got your first exhibit and your entrance made you'll be crashing like crazy. The more you build on that map, you more often it crashes.

I wish there was a sub-folder for zoo tycoon mods, or a mod manager. I'll post here/edit this post if removing some mods helps with any of my issues.Īnd the shuffling of items and animals whenever I open the tabs. I don't even have to place them for them to go NOPE, just click on them. I'll just have to make sure not to click on the game crashing ones too, make sure to save frequently, and hope I don't accidentally click on the game crashing ones. I've seen people with the new UI that comes with RR and they don't have the biome modifications box. It does the exact same thing as the Paradise Arch from Island Excursions, though I'm not entirely sure what mod pack the shrimp came in. It simply minimizes the game and then closes it, loosing all progress I have saved on anything. Whenever I click on this it crashes my game. Whenever I start up a map parts of the map load up black, and I suspect it has something to do with a biome file somewhere (related to Exhibit A) in my mod files? I'm not sure, but when I paint over the black areas with any type of biome the black void goes away. I can't figure out which file it is in my mods that is causing this, so any help would be greatly appreciated! I would like the radical remake biome reskins, but I do not want the ugly biome modifications panel sitting in my way of building things. I cannot figure out how to get rid of that window.
So I thought I'd post here in the hopes that someone might have an idea as to what is going on. Needless to say I've been bound to run into a few bugs here and there, some of them game breaking, some of them simply aesthetic issues. I haven't played zoo tycoon 2 in a long time, so I went a little crazy. Sooo I kind of got a little over excited when I realized how much mod content there is out there these days.
